Locations
Our headquarters are in Douglas on the Isle of Man, where our company was founded. We also have sales offices in the centre of Birmingham, Telford, and a design and development studio in Ringwood, near Bournemouth. Please check the location of the role you’re applying before starting the recruitment journey. This detail will be included next to the role description. Some roles allow for remote working, but it’s best to check as many of our positions are office based.
The recruitment process
The journey begins with the recruitment process. No matter which role you are applying for, we need you to apply through our website https://plan.com/careers, where you will be asked to provide some basic details and upload your CV. If you want to know about how your details will be stored and managed, please see our Privacy Policy.
After a CV is uploaded to our Applicant Tracking System, it is reviewed by our hiring manager. If your skills, qualifications and experience fit the bill, we’ll contact you via email and invite you to an interview. We aim to maintain transparency and empathy throughout, so we’ll also be in touch if on this occasion, you don’t quite hit the mark.
Next is the interview stage, where we will work out the best date and time for us to meet. Our recruitment team will give you all the information you need to be fully prepared. That will include who you will be meeting, and anything you need to prepare prior to the interview.
The first interview often determines the next steps; whether a second interview is needed, aptitude testing is required for the role or, in some cases, a job offer is made. The job offer and acceptance stages are exciting milestones in the journey. Here you’ll confirm financial arrangements and through a formal email, you will be informed about the offer's details, including the job position, salary and holiday allowance.
Once an offer is verbally or via email accepted, our People team formalises it through an official offer letter and contract. This will involve you providing ID and proof of address, and agreeing a suitable start date.
